Hilda vowed to fulfill his request, promising to protect the world while awaiting his return. In the aftermath of the Eclipse, Hilda halted her body's internal clock, preventing her from ageing physically in order to live forever. Hilda would return to Fahrenheit, where she would establish and rule the empire of Hildegaria, as means of preparation should the Eclipse occur again. As Regnant rebuilt itself over the course of a thousand years, Hilda would realize that the rising human population and emotional energy would result in another Eclipse before Elcrest's revival. In an effort to revolutionize society, Hilda introduced the Ten Oppressive Laws to stem the flow of emotional energy in her country. In short, my game is already sold back to Amazon, and I never want to see it again. However, its citizens opposed her supposed tyranny and with scheming by her close officials, the country erupted into a civil war. I could imagine that if you love SRPGs and harem anime, it might be enjoyable. I won't give it a 0 though, because yes, everything functions as it should and it does have the basics working. In particular, Nonoka is now in my top 10 worst characters ever list. Characters met every single terrible anime trope - trust me, coming from someone who's watched anime most of my life, I'm a little forgiving in this department, but I don't think I ever made it through a single chapter without at least one major cringe. How could any developer have not realized by now what a terrible idea that is. Why should I lose a battle through no fault of my own? Final Fantasy Tactics made this mistake, but that was made in 1997. It also makes the #1, infuriating SRPG mistake - having VIPs with suicidal AI. Yes, it's only one second, but in an SRPG, that's dozens of times with one battle, which ruins the pacing. No, I don't need to spend 1 second watching a bar refill every attack/heal. Took way too long to do anything, even with animations turned off. No, I don't need to spend 1 second watching a Felt like a chore to play. Conclusion: Overall the game was great, and I enjoyed my 70+ hour playthough with it to the very end, even if it left that bittersweet taste knowing this was the end, but I am hopeful for a possible sequel, and anyone with a 3DS that has a love for JRPGs and Anime, should definitely give Stella Glow the love it earned and deserves! … Expandįelt like a chore to play. I also felt some characters had huge potential to be really good based on their skills and capabilities, but fell short and got overshadowed simply because they were slower, or had far less movement, making speedy characters and ranged characters the golden ticket.

this goes double for the special Witch's songs that go into a whole scene each time, that is unskippable. For example, battles can tend to drag on longer than they need to simply because you are forced to watch the opponents take their entire turn without a fast forward or skip button, outside of the battle animations. Bads: There wasn't too many things I found wrong with this games except for a few grips with the game mechanics themselves. The game makes up for this in equipment such as materia like objects called Orbs, used to add additional effects and power to a character. The whole all gameplay reminded me of Final fantasy Tactics Advance, just with a much more basic skill structure, as each character has their own set of unique skills they can learn but not customize i.e FFTA or FE Awakening.

But things got more sense of danger as the story went on which made things more thrilling. The games difficulty never felt to overbearing, or ruthless like games like Fire Emblem, which can be a let down at some points as sometimes it even felt like the AI purposely avoided killing my party members in situations I would have been screwed.

Each battle can take between 10-30+ minutes but never did it feel boring, even when grinding for levels and money, I enjoyed it. Goods: Stella Glow brings a very anime feel to the SRPG genre, with great deep story telling, interesting casts of characters, great voice acting and a fun addicting battle system. For any JRPG, SRPG, or even just a fan of Anime, this game is well worth the purchase. As Imageepoch's swan song title they really hit it out of the park, making it very sad to know this was end.
